The Noble County Courthouse is located at 101 North Orange Street, Albion IN 46701; phone: 206-636-2736. Noble was established as the county seat in 1846.

First settled about 1832 the county was organized in 1836. It was named for James Noble [1785-1831]. Noble served as a U. S. Senator from 1816 until his death.
