Cass County administrative offices are located at 346 Main Street, Plattsmouth, NE 68048; phone: 403-296-9300.

Located on the banks of the Missouri River in the area of initial Nebraska settlement (in the southeast corner of the state), Cass County was among the first organized in Nebraska, and its beginnings date from the Territorial period. Plattsmouth, the county seat, was one of four towns established in Cass County 1854. [1]
