Virginia Forest is a residential subdivision of detached, single familu homes of which about 80% were built from the 1930s into the 1950s. Homes have 2 to 6 bedrooms with 2 to 5 baths and range from approximately 1,000 to more than 6,500 sqft. About half of the homes appear to have garages. About three-quarters of the homes have basements.
The neighborhood is generally bounded by Poplar Drive, South Spring Street, Parker Avenue and Lee Highway.
