Jefferson County [1] is largely a rural County with one incorporated city, Port Townsend, and one Master Planned Resort, Port Ludlow. The County's population is located primarily in the northeast portion of the County, in the communities of Port Townsend, Tri-Area, Quimper, and Port Ludlow. Quilcene and Brinnon are the largest communities in the southern portion of the County.
