The Logan County Courthouse is located at 301 East Harrison Avenue, Guthrie, OK 73044; phone: 405-292-0123.

When the Oklahoma Territory was organized in 1890, Logan was the first county to be designated. Guthrie was designated the territorial capital and, when Oklahoma became a state in 1907, was the capital of the State until 1910 when it was moved to Oklahoma City. The county is named for General John A. Logan of Civil War fame. Logan is credited with establishing Memorial Day as a national holiday.
