Lincoln City is located along the Pacific Coast, about 90 miles southwest of Portland.
Lincoln as described in 1940 [1]
Lincoln is tiny sawmill village. The fragrance of pine fills the air as the road curves up the slopes to the summit of Green Springs Mountain,. At this point the highway crosses a boundary of the Rogue River National Forest. On the summit of the mountain, is a junction with a foot trail.
