Hyde Park is a residential neighborhood of semi-attached (twins), row homes, and detached singles built circa 1900-1990, located just outside the Reading City limits. Median age is circa 1930. Approximately two-thirds of the residences are semi-attached twins. For the twins, interior living space ranges from approximately 1,000-1,750 sqft. with a median of approximately 1,350 sqft. Median lot size is less than one-tenth of an acre. Median lot size for detached singles is less than one-fifth of an acre.

The neighborhood is roughly bounded by Allentown Pike (Route 222) on the west, George Street on the north, Kutztown Road on the east, and the Warren Street Bypass (Route 12) on the south.
