Keelersville

Bedminster Twp, Bucks County, PA

The boundary separating East Rockhill from Bedminster Township runs through Keelersville, along Old Bethlehem Rd. The village center is near the intersection of Old Bethlehem and Ridge Rd. Though the Keeler family was not numerous in the area, the village was undoubtedly named for one of them, though it is not known specifically in honor of whom.

At one time Keelersville had a tannery, a store, hotel, shops and a leather factory. The Tohickon Union Church is unique in that it was built for two separate congregations who continued to harmoniously share the church for two centuries.
