Beginnings [1]

When Lee Manley established Oak Hill Farms in Willistown Township in 1948, it became necessary not only to choose a place name but also street names. He named the principal street Skyline Drive after a tourist attraction in the South and changed the name of an existing street from Hog Lane to Forest Lane. The place name was due to a large oak tree standing on the 37-acre tract. It stands now in the backyard of John A. Hoey's 2-acre lot on Skyline Drive.
