The City of Palm Bay is a municipality located within the southern portion of Brevard County, Florida. Palm Bay is the County's largest City, having a population in excess of 81,000 persons. The City was incorporated in 1960 having, at the time, about 2,800 residents. By 1990 it became the most-populas city in Brevard County when the number of residents approached nearly 63,000. By 1918 the metro area was a thriving technology area whose tech salaries were more than 3 times more than the average for the State.
