Oakmont is a residential neighborhood of detached singles and twin (semi-attached) residences located just north of the Haverford Middle/High School Campus.
Most of the homes were built from the 1920s through the 1940s, with some older and newer residences at various places throughout the neighborhood. Median age is circa 1935. Lot sizes range from less than one-tenth to more than one-quarter of an acre.
The Oakmont neighborhood is generally bounded by Campbell Avenue, WInton Avenue, East Marthart Avenue and Darby Road.
