West Earl Township

Lancaster County, Pennsylvania

   

East Earl Town Hall is located at 157 West Metzler Road, Brownstown, PA 17508.

The township is known for its historic covered bridges, including the Bitzer's Mill Covered Bridge and Zook's Mill Covered Bridge, both listed on the National Register of Historic Places The area was settled as early as 1717 by Hans Grof, a Swiss Mennonite.. The township was established in 1833 from part of Earl Township.
