The City has a diverse base of manufacturers including national brands such as Andersen Windows and Polaris Industries. There is a strong presence of metal fabrication, equipment assembly and metal/plastic parts contract manufacturing. [1]
North Branch has industrial sites adjacent to I-35 and the city has its own exit. Due to the proximity to Minneapolis - St. Paul, there are excellent full load/LTL trucking services in the area, an inter- modal facility in St. Paul operated by BNSF, and a 40-minute drive to the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP).
The City of North Branch was formed in 1994 from the consolidated cities of Branch and North Branch.
