Delaware Avenue is a distinctive neighborhood of 19th and early 20th century homes facing the Delaware River. Number 531 Delaware Ave. In 1910 Theophilus Zurbrugg bought an entire block and commissioned Frank Furness to design a residence. This was to be one of Furness' last commissions as he died in 1912.
