Riverwoods is a subdivision of detached single family residences built primarily during the late 1990s. There were three builders: Gigliotti Group, Heritage Builders, and Ryan Homes. During development, the Gigliotti homes were referred to as "The Estates at Riverwoods," Heritage homes were called "Summit at Riverwoods," and Ryan homes as just, plain "Riverwoods."
