Sovereign Estates is a golf course community of 66 detached, single family residences built circa 1985 by John Seal. About 25 of the homes back to a green and/or fairway of the Bucks County Country Club.

Original designs offered included 2, 3 and 4 bedroom models, all with 2-car, side-entry garage, family room, and full basement. The primary option, offered on all models, was an upgraded master bath. Most lots are approximately 1/4 acre; about fifteen lots range from approximately 1/2 to 3/4 acre.

Access to the Sovereign Estates neighborhood is from Almshouse Road onto Sand Trap Road, or York Road (Route 263) onto Fairway Drive.
