Milton E. Beebe

Milton Earl Beebe, Architect [1840-1922]

A grandson of one of the original settlers of Buffalo, New York, Milton E. Beebe [†], born in 1840, started as a carpenter's assistant, served in the Civil War, and practiced and studied architecture in Buffalo and New York City until 1872. He then set up a very successful architectural practice in Buffalo, M. E. Beebe & Son. Beebe moved to Fargo, North Dakota in 1898 and established a successful practice at the age of 58, active in Fargo until about 1911. He died in 1922.
