Lantern Hill was built and marketed as a "traditional neighborhood." Developed by Granor Price homes circa 2002-2004, the community consists of 82 townhome and single family residences.
From builder's marketing brochure: "Inspired by the spirit and vitality of the familiar village, Lantern Hill replicates the great neighborhoods of the past, with a 21st century personality. Influenced by traditional architectural detail and distinctive styling, these well-appointed townhomes are characterized by interspersed brick, stucco and siding facades with imaginative interiors ranging from 1,800 to 2,200 square feet of living space, plus garage and basement. The community has on and off street parking with private, rear-access alleyways, providing a more walkable neighborhood ... promotes a greater sense of community."
Original plans called for an indoor fitness center and other small, retail spaces.
Entry into the subdivision is from Veterans Lane onto Chandler Court.
