Deep Dale is often spoken of prefaced by "East" or "West" referring to which side of New Rodgers Road (Route 413) (which bisects the development) is being referenced.

Access to the Deep Dale East neighborhood is from Route 413 (northbound) onto Deep Dale Drive East, or Trenton Road onto Deepdale Way. This part is bordered on the east by Mill Creek Valley Park. Access to the Deep Dale West neighborhood is from Route 413 (southbound) onto Deep Dale Drive West, or from Trenton Road onto Dolphin Road.
